Texas State University has expelled the student of an person who allegedly reenacted the assassination of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk at a gathering this week.

A social media video captures the individual in the crowd slapping his neck on several occasions, calling himself “Charlie Kirk”, and simulating the events of Kirk’s tragic end.

“Charlie Kirk got hit in the neck, b---h,” the person says in the footage.

At one point, the individual is observed climbing onto a statue and dramatizing a fall implying he was struck.

Texas Governor, a elected official, shared the video and demanded the student’s expulsion.

“These actions will not be tolerated at our schools,” Abbott stated. “Dismiss this student at once. Imitating violence must have consequences.”

University President Kelly Damphousse published a message describing the footage as “disturbing” and verifying it was filmed on university grounds.

“Actions that mocks or promotes violence is inexcusable and opposes the values of our university,” he stated. “Expressions that celebrate violence are not welcome on our properties.”
