Cut Your Way Across the Action-Packed Franchise Before It Exits Game Pass

While some major games are joining the Game Pass library in September, a handful of additional titles will be to depart by the end of September.

Action Series Exiting Game Pass

A trio of notable entries—Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, and Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor’s Edge—will be to disappear off of the platform when September ends. All three titles are the latest ports of the rebooted mainline series and originally included in the 2021’s Master Collection.

History of Intense Action

Originally launched in arcade cabinets and on consoles such as the Nintendo Entertainment System, the original Ninja Gaiden titles offered 2D action. However, the rebooted series evolved into 3D design and significantly ramped up the difficulty. Additionally, it incorporated more graphic action, which has grown into a signature element of the series.

Prepare for the Next Installment

For those curious about the storyline, October’s Ninja Gaiden 4 has been billed as a straight sequel to Ninja Gaiden 3. This means now a perfect time to catch up on the lore ahead of its release. The game is published by Microsoft’s game division and is set to be available on the service at launch.

This year, players have already experienced two other entries: a remaster of Ninja Gaiden 2, as well as a nostalgic side game that was a popular release.
